A production company working for Channel 4 filmed the creation and opening of Aroma Italia for 8 months for a series called “Risking it all”. A camera crew filmed the whole development and followed Karen and Marcus on their journey, throughout the setting up and creation of their restaurant. Despite never even working in a restaurant before, let alone creating one, the restaurant has been a roaring sucess! Designing Aroma Italia, all the building work, all the highs and lows of getting finished on time despite setbacks and near financial ruin before it even opened. The programme was shown on Channel 4 on September 5th and the restaurant has been even busier than ever. Aroma Italia is a success story and hopefully an inspiration to anyone who has a dream of setting up in business for themselves.
Their third venture, Cafe Barista, opens in April 2008. |
